Aleah Flint has been a violin student with Louann Flaherty now for a little over a year now. Aleah is part of the Home School Classical Conversations home-school group in Waterloo Ia. She is 6 yrs old, and in the first grade now!
Louann nominated Aleah for the sheer fact that she always comes very well-prepared each week for her lesson! Aleah plays very detailed, with a perfect set-up!! Aleah absolutely loves how the violin sounds, and she actually asked to play violin when she was just 3 years old! Another musical activity she is involved in with her violin is the Lollipop Series Koncert.
Besides music, Aleah participates in the Awana Club at church. Some of her many favorite things are also reading, arts and crafts, science experiments, and ice skating. She loves her some Mac-n-cheese, pizza, sweets, and, yes…broccoli! Her not-so-favorites are mushrooms and spaghetti sauce! Her favorite music to play is Amazing Grace and Go Tell Aunt Rhody! She enjoys listening to classical music and Christian Rock! One thing you might be surprised to know about Aleah is that she loves to take care of caterpillars and butterflies! Wow…. this is one well-rounded little 6 yr old!
Congratulations, Aleah! Keep up the great work!
