Two River Strings Bench Copy Haddock 700
The Bench Copy Haddock violin is a representation of the earliest instruments made by Guarneri del Gesu. In the early years of del Gesu, he followed the patterns and traditions of the Brescian and Cremonses styles of violin making. Our 1734 Haddock Bench Copy features choice European spruce and well-figured curly maple.
What is a bench copy?
A bench copy instrument is an authentic replica of another instrument. The Luthier building the instrument will use accurate diagrams, measurements, specs, and photography to recreate the look, sound and feel look of a unique and well known instrument.
